The Poole Arts Centre (Wessex Hall and Towngate Theatre) is the only theatrical venue in the town itself. However, nearby Bournemouth has some excellent venues that include Bournemouth International Centre (Windsor Hall and Tregonwell Hall), Pavilion and Pier theatres.

The Poole Quay area is the main focus for entertainment in town. Pubs, restaurants and cafés line the quayside of this modern development.

The Poole Tower Park Leisure Complex is the largest of its kind on England's south coast. Among the attractions are a water park, ten-pin bowling, a ten-screen cinema and lots more.
